I’ve always had a restless curiosity about the world. Growing up, I spent hours poring over maps, dreaming about far-off cities, remote islands, and landscapes I’d only seen in pictures. That curiosity eventually turned into a lifelong passion — and now, I get to call it my job. Traveling is not just something I do; it’s who I am.
After university, I spent a few years in London’s corporate world, sitting behind a desk and staring at spreadsheets. Don’t get me wrong — I learned a lot there, but I quickly realized that my real education was out in the world, on buses, planes, and train rides through cities I’d only imagined. In 2016, I took the leap and traded my office for a backpack. Since then, I’ve been on the road almost constantly, visiting 70 countries across six continents — from the wild mountains of Patagonia to the bustling streets of Bangkok, from sun-drenched Moroccan markets to quiet fishing villages in the Scottish Highlands.
Through this blog, I share everything I’ve learned along the way. I’m not here to just list the top tourist spots (though I love those too!) — I want to give you the kind of advice I wish I’d had when I started traveling: the tips that make a journey smoother, the hidden gems off the beaten path, and the stories that make each destination unforgettable. I write about what it feels like to wake up in a new city, to meet people who challenge your perspective, and to experience moments that stick with you long after you’ve left.
Travel, for me, is about more than seeing places — it’s about connecting with people, culture, and the natural world in ways that enrich your life. I’m passionate about responsible travel, discovering authentic experiences, and helping others explore the globe in a way that’s meaningful, fun, and sustainable. Every guide I create, every tip I share, comes from personal experience and a genuine desire to help fellow travelers make the most of their journeys.
